Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 16, 2026
Alpha Omega Utility Services (“AOUS”, “we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, forms, and SMS communications, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including when you:
- Submit a contact or inquiry form — your name, email, phone number, and message.
- Register for CDL or other training — your name, email, phone, payment preference, permit/licensing status, and any details you share.
- Apply for a job — your name, contact details, the position you’re applying for, and your résumé/CV.
- Join the storm roster — full name, phone, email, CDL number, classification, IBEW card number, local union number, glove/sleeve size, and required documents (Driver’s License, Medical Card, Paid Dues Receipt).
- Request member resources (for example, MMEA materials) — your name, email, phone, and consent preferences.
We also automatically collect limited technical information when you use the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages viewed, through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request;
- Process program registrations, job applications, and storm-roster submissions;
- Conduct required screenings for storm-roster participants — including FMCSA Clearinghouse queries, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks, and verification of CDL, medical card, paid dues, and IBEW compliance;
- Send program updates, newsletters, and resources you’ve asked for;
- Send deployment notifications, emergency updates, and operational messages by SMS where you have consented;
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our services;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed:
- SPE Group, our parent company, for storm-roster recruitment, screening, and mobilization, which are operated on its behalf.
- Service providers who help us operate — for example, our customer-relationship/form platform, website hosting and secure file storage, screening and verification services, and email/SMS delivery — under agreements that require them to protect your data.
- Legal and safety reasons — when required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AOUS, our students, roster participants, or others.
4. SMS & Email Communications
If you opt in to SMS, you may receive deployment notifications, emergency updates, and operational messages. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in each message. Message and data rates may apply.
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and understand how the Site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how parts of the Site function.
6. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal obligations. Storm-roster documents are securely stored for one (1) year, as stated on the form. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.
7. How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including secure storage for uploaded documents. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of marketing communications. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for adults and prospective students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we’ll delete it.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites and services we don’t control. This policy does not apply to those sites; please review their privacy policies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, and the “Last updated” date above will be revised.
