Welcome to the Alpha Omega Utility Services (“AOUS”, “we”, “our”, “us”) website. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our Site, including all pages, forms, downloads, SMS communications, and any services offered through it. By accessing this Site, submitting information, or joining our storm roster, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of the Website
You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Interfere with the Site’s functionality;
- Attempt unauthorized access;
- Upload harmful files, malware, or false information;
- Misrepresent your identity or qualifications.
We reserve the right to deny or restrict access for any violation.
2. Services Provided
AOUS provides utility workforce training, including:
- The flagship Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) program;
- OSHA & MIOSHA safety training;
- Lineworker and utility-focused instruction;
- Hands-on training at our Applied Technology Center (ATC).
We also recruit and mobilize linemen for the storm roster operated by our parent company, SPE Group. Service descriptions are informational and may be updated at any time.
3. Storm Roster Participation
The storm roster is operated on behalf of SPE Group. By joining the storm roster, you acknowledge and agree to the following.
3.1 Information You Provide
You may be required to provide:
- Full name, phone number, and email;
- CDL number and classification;
- IBEW card number and local union number;
- Glove/sleeve size;
- Required documents (Driver’s License, Medical Card, Paid Dues Receipt).
3.2 Required Screenings
You consent to mandatory screenings, which may include:
- FMCSA Clearinghouse query;
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check;
- Verification of CDL, medical card, and paid dues;
- Compliance with IBEW requirements;
- Drug- and alcohol-free workplace standards.
These are required by federal and Michigan state law for commercial vehicle operators.
3.3 Document Retention
Uploaded documents are securely stored for one (1) year, as stated on the form.
3.4 No Employment Guarantee
Submission does not guarantee deployment, work assignment, or employment.
4. SMS and Email Communications
By selecting “Yes” on the SMS consent field, you agree to receive deployment notifications, emergency updates, and operational messages. You may reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. By submitting your email, you also consent to receiving updates, service notifications, and business communications. You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in each message.
5. Intellectual Property
All logos, text, media, documents, and branding on this Site are owned by AOUS. You may not copy, distribute, or reuse content without permission.
6. Uploaded Files
When submitting documents, you agree that:
- You own or have the right to submit the files;
- The files do not contain malware;
- The files comply with federal and state requirements.
AOUS is not responsible for loss of data due to user error or technical issues beyond our control.
7. No Professional Advice
Content on the Site is for informational purposes only and should not be considered legal, electrical, safety, or operational advice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
