Our CDL Training Program provides a fast-paced pathway to earning your Commercial Driver’s License, a highly valuable credential in the utility industry. This program is designed for individuals ready to commit to an intensive, career-focused experience.

Before You Apply: CDL Program Requirements
This is a fast-paced, intensive program. Preparation is required.
To be successful in this program, students must come prepared. Please review the requirements below before applying.
Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License
Must obtain your Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) BEFORE the start of class
If your CLP is not obtained by the end of Day 2, you will be dropped from the program with no refund
Most students who do not prepare in advance will not pass the CLP test. You are strongly encouraged to study before the program begins.
CDL Training Program Overview
Our CDL program is designed to provide the training and experience needed to successfully earn your CDL and enter the workforce with confidence.
Program Breakdown:
150 total training hours
3-week program (Monday–Friday, 10-hour days)
80 hours of classroom instruction
20 hours of range (yard) practice
20 hours of driving observation
30 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction

$5,500
Incudes:
CDL instruction
DOT-required drug screen
Medical Examiner Certification
Use of training vehicle
One CDL skills test attempt
